Blood Bike Awareness Day is organised by the National Association of Blood Bikes (NABB) and aims to promote awareness of the life saving work the NABB does in conjunction with the NHS and emergency services. The day is sponsored by mobile telephone service O2.

In order to support the NABB in its vital work, businesses and individuals can support their work throughout the year. Blood Bike Awareness Day will help to highlight how people can support the service.

Primary sponsor, The O2 business states:

We’re proud to support the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes (NABB) by helping them with their essential technology and communication needs.  Sharing our expertise and innovation is a great way to help this organisation who are on the front line supporting the wider emergency services.  As part of our on-going commitment to the Blood Bikes, we’re pleased to announce Blood Bike Awareness Day, to be held on Friday 14 August 2015.
